Inside the PC's

A computer is a device that can be instructed to carry out an arbitrary set of arithmetic or logical operations automatically. Computer Hardware is the physical part of a computer, as distinguished from the computer software that executes or runs on the hardware. The hardware of a computer is infrequently changed, while software and data are modified frequently. Computer system is a combination of Input device(key board, mouse etc), Output Device(Monitor, printer speaker etc.), Processing Devices and Memory Devices.

In this article, you will learn what are the components of CPU cabinet.
CPU cabinet consists of Processors, Motherboard, Sound Card, Graphic Card and another more hardware devices.

Motherboard

A motherboard is the main printed circuit board (PCB) found in general purpose microcomputers and other expandable systems.A motherboard is one of the most essential parts of a computer system. It holds together many of the crucial components of a computer, including the central processing unit (CPU), memory and connectors for input and output devices. The base of a motherboard consists of a very firm sheet of non-conductive material, typically some sort of rigid plastic. Thin layers of copper or aluminum foil, referred to as traces, are printed onto this sheet. These traces are very narrow and form the circuits between the various components. In addition to circuits, a motherboard contains a number of sockets and slots to connect the other components

Processor

A processor is an electronic circuit which performs operations on some external data source, usually memory or some other data stream. The processor also known as the CPU (short for Central Processing Unit) controls the execution of all programs. It is the electronic circuitry within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetic, logical, control and input/output (I/O) operations specified by the instructions.

System Memory

System Memory is the place in a computing device where the operating system (OS), application programs and data in current use are kept so they can be quickly reached by the device's processor. It is also known as RAM (random access memory).RAM devices are used in computer systems as the main memory. RAM is considered volatile memory, which means that the stored information is lost when there is no power. So, RAM is used by the central processing unit (CPU) when a computer is running to store information that needs to be used very quickly, but it does not store any information permanently.

Hard drive

The hard drive is where your software, documents, and other files are stored. The hard drive is long-term storage, which means the data is still saved even if you turn the computer off or unplug it. Hard drives are used in computer systems as the Secondary memory. There are considered permanent memory, which means that the stored information will not lost when there is no power.

Optical Drives

An optical drive is a type of computer disk drive that reads and writes data from optical disks through laser beaming technology. These include CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs.

Power Supply Unit

A power supply unit (or PSU) converts mains AC to low-voltage regulated DC power for the internal components of a computer.

Video card (Graphic Card)

A video card is an expansion card which generates a feed of output images to a display

Sound card

A sound card is an internal expansion card that provides input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of computer programs.

Network card

A network card is a circuit board or card that is installed in a computer so that it can be connected to a network.
